We ran a Cosmic Bowling social on Thursday 26th February at Stockport Megabowl

Thanks to everyone who attended and competed in the impromptu bowl off between the two teams headed up by Rob Clarke and Andrew Borritt.

The bowling was under new and unusal conditions of dark lights, lasers and music, and spiced up with a few pints of premium lager.

It was a closely run thing with both teams showing some varying techniques with the big hitters of Ash, Neil, Rob R meeting the consistency of Dan, Emily, Is and co.

After some 3 hours of not stop strikes, spares and misses, the final outcome was a 1-1 draw and a fair result.

Thanks again to all for attending and a special thanks to Elaine who very kindly drove most of us down to Stockport and picked us up, plus to Sam the Manager of the Megabowl who gave us such a good deal.

The event took place at the Czech Bar race course and was attended by some 25 runners and riders.

All horses and their owners were fed well with a Xmas Feast and topped up by a Welcome drink.

They then ran in 8 races, and a big finale.

All winners received one of a series quality prizes from CD player, bottles of wine, DVDs, and everyone went away happy especially Ash who wone the Kylie calendar.

Thanks again to Michelle, Jenny and co for letting us use the venue.
